Inspiration Day ~ Change, Changing Seasons !
August 13th, 10am to 4pm
Location: Neuvy St Sépulchre, 36230
Our second outing to the beautiful Rosary gardens for a day of calm and inspiration. This day has been designed for you to feed your creativity. Whether you are an artist, writer, crafter, or dabbler. You will enjoy different, new, exciting ways to express your own creativity by stepping out of the norm and inviting in the unusual.
The price for this wonderful day is just 5€ for members only.

The Dragon's Pen Writers' Group

Arrive from 10:30am for a cuppa and a chat, then join fellow writers - from beginners to pros - for support, feedback, and inspiration. Food and refreshments available to purchase at the cafe.
Story / Poetry Slam
August 27th at 4pm
Location: Les Cabosses, Lussat, 23170
Join us for an afternoon/evening of telling stories, reading poetry, and sharing your work in this truly beautiful setting. Whether you want to show your own work or simply enjoy the vibes, this event is sure to have something for you. More details to follow!
Fête de la Peinture
August 31st from 8am (to start at 9am) until around 7pm
Join us at this wonderful annual art festival and competition for artists of all abilities and ages.
We'll have a covered stand with tables and benches where you can show and sell your art, and you get the chance to partake in the competition if you'd like to.
There's even a brocante :) This is a great day out whether you just want to join us for a while, or whether you want to participate in the competitions. There are wonderful prizes for all participants, plus additional ones for first and second place in each category.

Dragons Pen June Workshop. Inspiration Day!
What to Expect – This day has been designed for you to feed your creativity. Whether you are an artist, writer, crafter, or dabbler. You will enjoy different, new, exciting ways to express your own creativity by stepping out of the norm and inviting in the unusual. Part of the day will be guided group sessions followed by independent time with a set task to complete.
Where – Neuvy Saint Sepulchre. We are in the process of transforming our property into an Angelic Retreat Sanctuary which has a peace filled harmonious energy. Perfect for us to explore, allowing our creative juices to flow.
What to bring – Comfortable shoes to walk on grass areas. Packed lunch Water Bottle Sun Hat/Rain Mac (depending on the weather.) Favourite Pen/Pencil/writing pad/sketch pad Painting Apron or old T-shirt. Don’t worry if you haven’t got anything to write on, or in, or to draw on, or with. The Rosary will have supplies available.
Timetable
1. 10am Meet and Greet- Please be prompt. Water and Glasses will be provided if needed.
2. Guided tour - Tour around the Retreat Sites pointing out rest benches for later exercises.
3. Meditation – Relaxation exercise. Do not worry if you have never meditated before. Just enjoy the experience and relax. Meditation Sharing.
4. The power of 4 ‘Breathwork’ Three Little Words – You will be given Three Words to focus on to create something. You can choose to write a poem or story-line, sketch or painting. But the focus has to be the three words given to you. Find a space to be on your own and flow! This will be timed and you will then return to the Barn Terrasse for debrief and Lunch.
5. Lunch
6. Pebbles – Another creative session for you to relax and enjoy. This time the focus is on someone you hold close to your heart. It could be a deceased loved one or someone still here. A pet. A friend. Family member. Allow drying time.
7. Meditation – We will walk back to the Rosary for our meditation circle and discussion. Connecting to our own sanctuary. This can be used as a tool for the future when it becomes difficult to focus.
8. Pebble Dedication and placement – Together we will go back to the woodland chapel to place the pebbles. Think about where you would like your pebble to be placed.
9. Return to Barn Terrasse for debrief of the day.
