As the weather improves, lets make the most of the beauty of an outdoor experience on a monthly basis. We have created a fun way to come together and explore some of our beautiful french landscapes and villages, to enthuse and entice our creative juices in a friendly social setting. After our coffee we will walk across the bridge, spanning the River Bouzanne, to the world UNESCO site of The Basilica.Taking photos as we stroll, we will walk to the edge of the lake, and along the path to the back of the car park, with more photo opportunities beside the weir and down the steps to the river. We will then move our cars to our picnic spot at the other end of the lake near to the plan d’eau restaurant - easier access for us to carry our folding chairs, picnic rugs, and paint, paper, writing equipment etc… We will have a lovely view of the skyline across the lake, including the circular roof of the oldest part of the Basilica. There are often ducks, geese and herons on the lake, with the odd fisherman dotted here and there.
Please let us know if you plan on joining us, or if you want any other information at jodi@dragonspen.com
