Dragon’s Pen is a non-profit association of writers and artists connecting with others to create with confidence. We consist of English-speaking writers, book professionals, artists, designers and creatives in Central France.
We know that creativity can be joyful, but it can also be lonely and sometimes it’s hard to know where to turn. That’s why we’ve built a space where creative people can connect, learn, and grow together. Our members come from every stage and discipline, united by the same goal: to turn inspiration into progress.
Dragon’s Pen exists to bring creatives together, support their growth, and provide a welcoming space where imagination, inspiration, confidence, community, and opportunities can thrive. We help writers, artists, and storytellers of all kinds feel less alone, develop their skills, explore the business side of creativity, and connect with others who understand their journey.
We aim to become a vibrant, recognised creative hub where connection leads to collaboration, confidence turns into opportunity, and every creative feels seen, supported, and inspired to share their voice with the world.

- We aim to ignite a love for reading and writing in both children and adults through engaging workshops, book fairs, and creative events.
- Championing indie authors, we foster an inclusive community that promotes literacy, creativity, and support for every individual's literary journey.
- We encourage all creative arts, including but not limited to illustration, design, creative expression and learning.
- Many workshops throughout the year aim to encourage all aspects of writing and art; encouraging, inspiring and generally having a lot of fun.
