Dragons Pen June Workshop. Inspiration Day!
What to Expect – This day has been designed for you to feed your creativity. Whether you are an artist, writer, crafter, or dabbler. You will enjoy different, new, exciting ways to express your own creativity by stepping out of the norm and inviting in the unusual. Part of the day will be guided group sessions followed by independent time with a set task to complete.
Where – Neuvy Saint Sepulchre. We are in the process of transforming our property into an Angelic Retreat Sanctuary which has a peace filled harmonious energy. Perfect for us to explore, allowing our creative juices to flow.
What to bring – Comfortable shoes to walk on grass areas. Packed lunch Water Bottle Sun Hat/Rain Mac (depending on the weather.) Favourite Pen/Pencil/writing pad/sketch pad Painting Apron or old T-shirt. Don’t worry if you haven’t got anything to write on, or in, or to draw on, or with. The Rosary will have supplies available.
Timetable
1. 10am Meet and Greet- Please be prompt. Water and Glasses will be provided if needed.
2. Guided tour - Tour around the Retreat Sites pointing out rest benches for later exercises.
3. Meditation – Relaxation exercise. Do not worry if you have never meditated before. Just enjoy the experience and relax. Meditation Sharing.
4. The power of 4 ‘Breathwork’ Three Little Words – You will be given Three Words to focus on to create something. You can choose to write a poem or story-line, sketch or painting. But the focus has to be the three words given to you. Find a space to be on your own and flow! This will be timed and you will then return to the Barn Terrasse for debrief and Lunch.
5. Lunch
6. Pebbles – Another creative session for you to relax and enjoy. This time the focus is on someone you hold close to your heart. It could be a deceased loved one or someone still here. A pet. A friend. Family member. Allow drying time.
7. Meditation – We will walk back to the Rosary for our meditation circle and discussion. Connecting to our own sanctuary. This can be used as a tool for the future when it becomes difficult to focus.
8. Pebble Dedication and placement – Together we will go back to the woodland chapel to place the pebbles. Think about where you would like your pebble to be placed.
9. Return to Barn Terrasse for debrief of the day.
The price for this wonderful day is just 5€ for members only.
