Each year we aim to publish an anthology of Dragon's Pen's members - short stories, poems and flash fiction. For the artistic members, this is your chance to submit a cover design.

IT'S VOTING TIME!
Below is a gallery of the 2026 Anthology cover design ideas - some are sketches, some are written ideas, some are more finished pieces - don't judge it on whether it is more finished or not - it's the IDEA you are voting for.
The finished cover of the winning idea will be revealed late March.
The Theme of the Anthology is: What would you choose to be in another life? Our book begins with a group of friends gathered for dinner, diving into this intriguing question. Your submission should explore the journey of one dinner guest, sharing their unique answer/experience and the story behind it.
- Click on each image as there is text to read on most of them, describing the concept. Look at them all before making your vote by email (see below). They have all been given a number. To submit your vote, choose the number of your favourite idea and then send your vote number to debi@dragonspen.com
- You must be a member of Dragon's Pen.
- You can only vote once.
- You cannot vote for yourself (if you have submitted one of the ideas).
- Voting is now open and closes midday, January 10th - or earlier if everyone has already voted.
- If there is a tie, then a new vote will take place between committee members to choose the final cover design idea.
- The chosen idea will be announced later in the day of January 10th, 2026.
